A dream of Saint Thérèse: this was the inspiration that Melânia Libel Antunes had around 1920, before she started developing her work as florist. Melânia was the Austrian grandmother to the current artist Maria Auxiliadora Stocco. Auxiliadora, from her girlhood, would learn that rare and unique métier step by step during her vacations in the interior of São Paulo.

With the tools she inherited from her grandmother, many of which also made in an artisanal manner, Auxiliadora improved the old techniques and officially set up the La Dumaux atelier and brand in 1988.

The quality of her work was recognized when it was selected, after a careful selection process, to participate in the Mod'Amont (International Trade Fair of Trimming and Supplies for Fashion and Design), which is held twice a year in Paris in February and September. La Dumaux, which since 2006 has participated in this world reputable Trade Show, by anticipating and launching trends, has gained as customers and visitors the great European fashion brands.
